The article examines how limiting China's CO2 emissions would impact its economy using a computer model. They created a baseline scenario for China's economy up to 2010 and then looked at two scenarios where CO2 emissions are reduced by 20% and 30%. They also studied the efficiency of different tax offset scenarios. The findings were compared to other studies for China.
