The researchers studied soil properties in cropland in eastern Croatia to improve agriculture and reduce environmental issues. They found that the soil had slightly acidic pH, low organic matter, and adequate phosphorus and potassium levels. Phosphorus varied a lot, while pH varied less. Soil management strategies tailored to specific areas are needed for sustainable farming.
