The article explores how trade liberalization affects gender inequality in Pakistan. It looks at three main areas: the job market, education, and healthcare. The study uses data from 1973 to 2005 to analyze the impact of exports and imports on gender inequality. The findings show that the ratio of girls' schools to boys' schools, per capita GDP, and the number of female teachers influence gender inequality in Pakistan. In particular, the number of girls' schools compared to boys' schools and per capita GDP play a significant role in determining gender inequality in education.
