Optimal nitrogen levels boost endangered plant's growth and photosynthesis efficiency.
The study looked at how different levels of nitrogen affected the growth of a plant called Phellodendron amurense. They found that moderate nitrogen levels helped the plant grow better, but too much nitrogen was not good for it. The plant had the best growth under a nitrogen level of 4 mmol/L. This study shows that giving the right amount of nitrogen can make plants grow better, but too much can be harmful.
