Greek labor market benefits from immigration, reducing unemployment and boosting participation.
The study looked at how immigrants affect Greek workers' job opportunities. They used data from 13 areas in Greece over 20 years. The researchers found that immigrants don't take jobs away from Greek workers. In fact, areas with more immigrants had lower unemployment for medium-skilled workers. Also, more people joined the workforce because of immigrants.
