ICSI offers hope for IVF failures, leveling playing field for couples.
The study looked at using a technique called intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) to help couples who had previously failed with traditional in vitro fertilization (IVF). They compared two groups of patients, one with normal semen and a history of IVF failure, and another with severe male infertility. The results showed that ICSI was successful in fertilizing eggs for all patients, and the pregnancy and implantation rates were similar between the two groups. This suggests that ICSI can be a useful option for couples who have struggled with IVF in the past.
