The three line Indica hybrid rice Fengyou 69, created by combining Fenghui 69 and Feng 68 A, showed good performance in tests in Guizhou Province. It had higher yields compared to a standard variety, with increases of 6.08%, 4.76%, and 6.27% in different tests. Fengyou 69 was officially approved in 2013 due to its simplicity in seed production and high yield potential. Under optimal conditions, it can yield up to 3.75 tons per hectare. This hybrid rice variety has great potential for widespread use and cultivation.
