The study looked at different types of barley grown in Serbia to see how they were affected by nitrogen fertilizer and weather conditions. They found that increasing nitrogen fertilizer helped increase grain yield and protein content. The number of grains per spike and the weight of 1,000 kernels also increased with nitrogen fertilizer, but only up to a certain point. The study showed that different barley types respond differently to nitrogen and weather, affecting their yield and quality.
