Artificial Climate Trends in China Reduced by Dynamical Downscaling, Improving Forecasts
The study tested the ability of a regional climate model to reduce artificial climate trends in global analysis in China. By using a regional environmental model system, the researchers found that the model not only produced consistent results in the regional domain but also minimized artificial climate trends in global analysis to some extent. The model was able to mimic annual variations and variability in temperature observations, reducing artificial climate trends by approximately 0.10.
