Professional football teams in European leagues compete in different levels of competition, affecting the quality of football played. A study analyzed nine countries' leagues and found that France had the highest level of competition, while Turkish football ranked the lowest. This suggests that when competition increases, the quality of football also improves, benefiting football spectators.
