The study examined fiscal sustainability in Malaysia using various tests. Results show that the fiscal process in Malaysia only meets weak-form sustainability, and there is no strong evidence supporting that it is sustainable, especially when considering revenues from oil and gas exports. This suggests that there may be challenges in maintaining the country's fiscal health in the long run.
