Boosting Wheat Yields: Long-Term Fertilization Experiment Unveils Key to Success
A 20-year study in China looked at how different fertilizers affect wheat yield on the Loess Plateau. They found that using both nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers together increased wheat yield significantly. In contrast, using only nitrogen or phosphorus led to a decline in yield. This shows that combining these fertilizers is better for increasing and maintaining wheat productivity in rainfed areas.
