The article discusses the importance of sustainable use of land resources for long-term development. Researchers in China evaluated land use in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, focusing on three key factors: quantity and structure of land, land productivity, and environmental sustainability. They found that 18 counties had high land productivity and strong environmental sustainability, leading to higher economic benefits. Another 48 counties had moderate land productivity but potential for improvement through changing land use patterns. This study highlights the need to carefully manage land resources to ensure sustainable development in the region.
