Least developing countries face unique challenges in climate policy due to their low emissions and high vulnerability to climate impacts. Transitioning to a low-carbon economy can help with both reducing emissions and adapting to climate change. However, integrating climate change into development plans is still a challenge for many of these countries. While some are considering dedicated climate laws, most climate action is currently done through policies and executive actions rather than formal laws.
