Czechoslovakian planners allocate only half of income to consumption, impacting economy.
The article analyzes how people in Czechoslovakia spend their money. Planners decide how much of the country's income goes to consumption, while individual consumers decide how much of their own money to spend. Planners tend to base their decisions on long-term income rather than short-term changes. For planners, the share of income spent on consumption is decreasing, while consumers spend almost all of their disposable income on consumption. Consumers in Czechoslovakia do not seem to save much and make spending decisions quickly.
