Multinational companies play a big role in the growth of countries, especially in transition economies like Ukraine. They bring in knowledge, technology, and investments that help these countries develop. The factors that attract these companies to certain regions are a mix of economic and institutional reasons. A study in Ukraine looked at why multinational companies choose to invest in certain areas. They found that both traditional economic factors and local institutional environments play a big role in these decisions. This research helps us understand why foreign companies choose to invest in specific regions within countries like Ukraine.
