The article estimates the economic impacts of climate change on agriculture in Europe. They used models to predict changes in exports, imports, GDP, and world supply under different climate and socio-economic scenarios. Results show that northern and southern European countries will be affected differently. The study assumes no water or nitrogen restrictions, so the findings may be overly optimistic for production but pessimistic for the environment. Uncertainty from socio-economic factors has a bigger impact than climate scenarios.
