Submerged Plants in Asan City Reveal Water Quality Secrets.
The researchers studied the relationship between underwater plants and water quality in Asan city, Korea. They found 18 types of underwater plants, with 5 being submerged. These plants had different distribution patterns. Some plants could adapt to various water conditions, while others preferred specific conditions. For example, Potamogeton crispus liked lower conductivity and higher pH, while Myriophyllum verticillatum preferred higher conductivity and lower pH.
