Perfectionism in Kids Linked to Positive Personality Traits, Study Finds
The study looked at how being pressured to be perfect by others (Socially Prescribed Perfectionism) is related to personality traits in kids aged 8-11. They found that kids with high levels of this pressure tend to score higher on traits like being organized, friendly, outgoing, and curious, but not on being anxious. These traits can predict how much pressure kids feel to be perfect.
