RIEMS2.0 accurately simulates long-term climate changes in China, improving forecasting.
RIEMS2.0, a climate simulation model, was tested in China to see how well it could predict long-term precipitation and air temperature patterns. The model was found to accurately show where and how much rain falls, but tended to overestimate rainfall and underestimate air temperature. It did a good job capturing yearly and regional variations in climate, with some biases in certain areas. Overall, RIEMS2.0 proved to be stable and effective in simulating China's climate changes over multiple years.
