New brinjal genotypes promise higher yields and stability in diverse environments!
The researchers studied how different types of brinjal plants grow in different environments. They tested 30 types of plants in three different seasons and found significant differences in plant height, fruit size, and yield. Some plants, like C11, C13, and C21, produced more fruit than the standard plant Chhaya. This shows that certain plants are better at adapting to different conditions and can yield more fruit.
