The article explores how Belarus adjusts to changes in exchange rates. High dollarization and inflation expectations cause prices to quickly reflect exchange rate changes. This makes it hard to peg the exchange rate effectively, leading to credibility issues and inflation expectations. To stabilize the economy, Belarus should establish a strong nominal anchor to control price fluctuations.
