The study tested the effects of La3+ on wheat yield and quality for different uses. By spraying La3+ on wheat at specific growth stages, researchers found that it increased yield and improved quality traits like protein content, carotenoid levels, and storage period. Strong-gluten wheat showed better quality standards, while medium-gluten wheat had improved starch properties. Weak-gluten wheat had reduced water absorption rate, suitable for weak-gluten flour.
