Silver nanoparticles of different shapes (spheres, wires, dendrites) were made using sound waves and electricity. The sizes of the particles varied, with spheres being 30 nm wide, wires also 30 nm wide but 200-900 nm long, and dendrites growing bigger with more silver. The particles were studied using microscopes and X-ray techniques, showing they had a specific structure and affected light differently based on their size and shape.
