Agents who think ahead are important in designing systems where everyone follows the rules. By studying how groups of these forward-thinking agents interact, we can figure out how to make sure they always do what's best for society. We found that certain rules can make sure everyone behaves as they should. This is especially true when considering different ways of making decisions together.
