The study looked at how adding chicken manure to cattle manure affects composting in cold temperatures. The mixed compost finished faster and reached higher temperatures than the single compost. Both types of compost had similar changes in moisture, pH, and C/N ratio, but the mixed compost had a wider range of these changes.
