Boosting nitrogen and phosphorus leads to 49% increase in oil flax yield
The study looked at how nitrogen and phosphorus affect the growth and yield of oil flax plants. They found that adding nitrogen and phosphorus improved the levels of chlorophyll and sugar in the plants, leading to more capsules, seeds, and higher yield. The best results were seen in plants treated with both nitrogen and phosphorus, which increased the yield by almost 50% compared to plants without any fertilizer.
