Long-term unemployment in Europe is a big issue. The number of people out of work for a long time has gone up because fewer people are finding jobs. Long-term unemployed people take longer to find work compared to those who have been unemployed for a short time. However, the rate at which they find jobs has not gotten worse over time. Even though long-term unemployment is tough for those going through it, it doesn't seem to be getting worse over time when we look at all the factors involved.
