The goal of the study was to check the quality of drinking water in rural areas of Taigu county, Shanxi province. Researchers tested water samples from 55 sites in 9 townships and found that some had issues with bacteria, chemicals, and pollution. The main problems were high levels of bacteria and visible residue in the water. This shows that there are still problems with disinfecting the water in rural Taigu, which can affect people's health. It's important for the government and society to work together to improve the quality of drinking water and make sure it's safe for everyone.
