Unlocking Africa's Economic Potential Through Innovative Infrastructure Financing.
This article looks at ways to improve infrastructure in Africa by using Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). The study focuses on the challenges faced by six African countries in developing PPPs. It discusses the need for better financing options, both domestic and foreign, and the importance of strong laws and institutions to support PPPs. The article also highlights the need for a solid pipeline of PPP projects and managing government commitments. It suggests policy recommendations to attract more private sector investment in African infrastructure through PPPs.
