Irrigation in Darlik Creek Watershed Increases Stream Flows by 67%
The study used a model called SWAT to look at how irrigation affects water flow in Darlik Creek Watershed in Turkey. They used a program called SWAT-CUP to adjust and test the model. The model was run for a specific time period and compared to real data from a monitoring station. The results showed that irrigation increased stream flows by 67% throughout the year.
