They found that using a daily maximum temperature can help simulate runoff better. Adjusting rainfall data with a coefficient can also make predictions more accurate. Changing the time lag based on snowmelt and rainfall can improve flood peak predictions. Limited gauge stations make it hard to monitor rainfall accurately, leading to less precise predictions.
