Frozen eggs offer hope for cancer survivors to have children
The study looked at female cancer survivors who froze their eggs or embryos before cancer treatment to preserve their fertility. Out of 667 patients, 40 returned to use their frozen material after being cured. Among them, 30 had embryo transfers, resulting in 8 live births. Some used frozen eggs, while others used embryos created through ovarian stimulation. The results suggest that different techniques can help female cancer patients have successful pregnancies after treatment.
