Political Instability Cripples Nepal's Private Sector, Stifling Growth and Job Creation
The research examined how Nepal can improve its business environment to boost job creation and growth by evaluating various factors affecting investment opportunities. The study found that while some sectors like tourism and specific services are growing, challenges such as political instability, poor infrastructure, labor relations, limited finance access, and decreasing exports are holding back Nepal's private sector. To progress, reforms and better communication between the government and businesses are essential. Addressing issues like political unrest could benefit companies by giving them more working days and could lead to significant improvements in economic activity, investment, and job opportunities.
