Countries in Southeast Europe have been improving economically since the 1990s, but their growth is still lower than other regions. This study looks at how trade within Southeast Europe has changed after a trade agreement was put in place. It also talks about barriers that are still stopping trade from growing more. The study shows that non-tariff barriers like rules and regulations can affect trade. It also mentions how the private sector in the region feels about the trade agreement. The study gives recommendations on how to improve trade in Southeast Europe.
