Phosphorus is crucial for plant growth, and this study looked at how different types and amounts of phosphate fertilizers affect pine seedling development. They grew the seedlings in a mix of soil and sand with various phosphate treatments. The slow-release fertilizer Basacote led to the best growth, with taller plants and thicker stems after 240 days. This shows that choosing the right type and amount of phosphate fertilizer can help pine seedlings grow strong and healthy for future planting.
