A new prefabricated facade system was designed to improve indoor comfort in Ecuador by customizing to different climate regions. By combining state-of-the-art technologies and multiple layers, the system can be easily assembled and disassembled, reducing resource demand in construction. The system was developed using computational prototyping and simulations to select the best components for each facade orientation. The result is a modular and symmetric component that can be tailored to different Ecuadorian climates, enhancing indoor comfort and promoting sustainability.
