Public organizations in Moldova are improving their information security by comparing their current cyber security controls to the ISO 27001 standard. By aligning with international standards, they can better protect their data and gain trust from foreign partners. The study found that implementing ISO 27001 can enhance security measures and ensure compliance with global cyber security requirements. Recommendations include creating information security management systems, conducting audits, and aligning national controls with ISO 27001 standards to improve cyber security in public institutions in Moldova.
