Altitude study reveals forest community diversity patterns in Xiaoqinling Nature Reserve
The researchers studied different types of forest communities and species diversity at different elevations in Xiaoqinling Nature Reserve. They used statistical analysis to classify the forest communities and analyze species diversity patterns. The results showed that there are five types of forest communities in the area, with woody plants having clearer distribution patterns than herbs along the elevation gradient. This study helps us understand how plant species are distributed in relation to environmental factors in mountain ecosystems.
