Historic buildings are valuable for our culture and history, but they can become unused over time. To keep them alive, they can be repurposed for modern needs while preserving their historical value. One important aspect of this is making sure the furniture in these buildings is comfortable and ergonomic for the people using the space. A study in Edirne looked at furniture in historical buildings to see if it meets ergonomic standards and if users are satisfied with it. The goal was to see if the furniture in these spaces is suitable for people to use comfortably.
