A study was conducted in India to see how different types of fertilizer and green manure affect the growth of rice plants. They tested four types of green manure and three levels of nitrogen fertilizer. The results showed that using dhaincha green manure led to the best growth of rice plants, with faster growth rates and larger leaves. Applying the full recommended amount of nitrogen fertilizer also helped the plants grow better. Overall, using dhaincha green manure and full nitrogen fertilizer can improve the growth of rice plants in this type of soil.
