Aromatic Rice Yields Soar with Organic-Inorganic Fertilizer Blend, Boosting Farmer Incomes
In a study about growing aromatic rice, different fertilizer methods were tested to see which gave the best results. By using a mix of natural and chemical nutrients, the researchers aimed to increase rice quality and profit for farmers. They compared methods like using only chemical fertilizer, mixing in organic compost, or a combination of both. The best outcome came from the method combining 100% chemical fertilizer with 25% vermicompost, which led to taller rice plants, more grains per panicle, and higher grain yield. This method also resulted in better profits compared to the other techniques tested in the experiment. By blending different types of nutrients, farmers can grow better quality rice and make more money from their harvest.
