The effectiveness of using Praestol 650 flocculant to clarify turbid water was studied. By mixing the flocculant with the water for at least 20 minutes at a specific rate, the turbidity was reduced by 96% to 7 mg/l. Another type of flocculant also showed 96% efficiency under different mixing conditions. Mixing intensity and duration were found to be crucial for successful water clarification.
