Farmers Boost Mustard Yields by 40% with Sulfur Fertilizer
The researchers studied how different levels and sources of sulphur affect the growth, yield, and nutrient uptake of mustard plants. They tested seven treatments in a field experiment and found that using RDF + 40 kg S ha-1 through SSP resulted in the highest plant height, number of branches, yield components, and nutrient content in the crop. This combination led to better seed quality and higher economic returns for mustard cultivation.
