The study looked at how a company's capital structure and size affect its value in the metal sector. They also examined how profitability influences this relationship. They analyzed data from 10 metal sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013-2017. The findings show that both capital structure and company size together impact a company's value. Specifically, capital structure affects value, but company size does not. Profitability plays a role in moderating the effects of capital structure and company size on firm value. Overall, the study suggests that a company's financial decisions and profitability can impact its overall value in the market.
