A new method was developed to create chaotic sequences using a combination of Logistic and Chebyshev mappings. Computer simulations showed that these sequences have strong randomness, correlation, and balance. This makes them useful for creating compressive sensing measurement matrices, which can accurately reconstruct one-dimensional signals.
