Farmers in Brazil Discover Irrigation Secrets to Boost Crop Yields and Conserve Water
The study evaluated different irrigation systems in southern Espirito Santo, Brazil, to see how well they watered crops. They tested sprinklers and localized systems on coffee, pineapple, guava, and grape fields. The localized systems were more even in watering, but the sprinklers were closer to the right amount of water needed. This research helps farmers use water more efficiently and grow better crops.
