The article suggests that the current software cost estimation standard in Korea needs improvement to accurately estimate development costs. By analyzing different software estimation models, the researchers identified new factors that can enhance accuracy. Applying these new factors to real projects showed that the updated model provides more precise cost estimates than the current standard.
