Coastal City Homes: Optimal Comfort Zones Unveiled for Hot Climates!
The study looked at how comfortable people feel in homes in a hot and humid coastal city. They used computer simulations to see how different factors affect comfort, like temperature and how our bodies react. The results showed that people feel most comfortable when the temperature is around 22.8-28.8°C and the PET index is between 20.5-27.0. The study found that older women may need extra help to feel comfortable, and that comfort levels can change quickly. Overall, the second floor of a house is usually more comfortable for activities.
