Optimal fertilizer rates boost potato yield in Ethiopia, transforming food security.
The study looked at how different amounts of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers affect the growth and yield of potatoes in Ethiopia. They found that using 34.5 kg of phosphorus and 200 kg of potassium per hectare resulted in the highest potato yields. These nutrients also influenced plant height and leaf area. Overall, the right balance of phosphorus and potassium can significantly improve potato growth and productivity in the region.
